Reuven Aryeh's Upshernish - First Hair-Cutting Ceremony
There is a prevalent Jewish custom to wait until a boy's third birthday to cut his hair. The celebration of this milestone is known as an upsherin or upshernish. Family and friends are invited to snip some of the child's hair, give a coin to charity, and partake in refreshments. We hope that you can celebrate Reuven Aryeh's special day with us!
